Alex Honorato
Alex is an actor and model, he was born in Paraíba do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He moved to Los Angeles in 2019 to pursue a career in acting and modeling. Since then, he has been working on several films, short films, commercials, digital productions and music videos. In theater, he played the role of Ramon Fornos in Terrence McNally's play "Love! Valour! Compassion!', Judas in "Frida: Stroke of Passion" and Lucio Torres and Johnny Lozano in "Arena: A House Musical" where he was able to show his talent as a singer as well.
Bella Hamm
Bella Hamm fell in love with the arts at the age of seven where she started dancing ballet and continued to train for fifteen years. She found her passion for musical theatre in highschool and continued her eduction at Cal State University Fullerton in their BFA Musical Theatre program, and just recently graduated in 2024. Her favorite role has been Cassie Ferguson in A Chorus Line where she was able to showcase her skills as a singer, dancer, and actor. Bella is thrilled to be apart of Adanza, and looks forward to many more opportunities in the future!
Jilbér Ferri
Jilbér Ferri, a trilingual triple threat, was born in Paris, France to Spanish parents. He moved to the United States to pursue a career as an Actor, Singer and Dancer. He danced professionally in Miami, Performed musical theater Off Broadway in New York and continued guitar lessons and songwriting through it all. A trained Tenor, Jilbér has a large stylistic range encompassing everything from Opera to Blues. Along with being a cast member, Jilbér is the co-writer and co-producer of Adanza as well as the owner of the well known event planning company Bubble Mania and Company.
Cristina Malakhai
Cristina Malakhai is a singer, songwriter, producer and actress from Barcelona, Spain. Her music has been featured on MTV, Billboard, NBA, KissFM, RTVE (National Public Radio and TV in Spain). She was #1 on iTunes Spain, and toured with +100 shows and festivals in Europe and the United States. She is a member of the Latin Grammy Academy. She is preparing new releases with the producer Marcus Bell (Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland), with a single and video that has more +12 awards and nominations at Los Angeles and Latin America Film Festivals. Her new music includes other high-end collaborations with latin producers and artists from Mexico, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Spain. Cristina was born an artist and performer. She developed her stage presence over more than 7 years, acting and singing in musical theater productions such as Rent, Fame, Les Misérables, and In the Heights.
Elizabeth Kate Hernandez
Elizabeth is thrilled to be in Adanza! She was most recently a part of “Grace,” a new play with Firefly Theatre Group. She has written and acted in multiple short films, including a musical pilot, but she’s very excited to be doing a musical on stage again. Some of her favorite past roles include Mimi in “RENT,” Voice 1 in “35MM,” and Gayle in “Almost, Maine.” Thanks to my wonderful friends/family and the Adanza team!
Jorchual Gregory Vargas
Born in Venezuela and having a Colombian childhood, Jorchual is an actor and filmmaker who discovered his love for the performing arts at a young age. His passion for entertaining brought him to Los Angeles, where he now continues to explore art through movement and stage. Aside from his film and TV work, his stage credits include productions such as "In the Heights" and "Cindy and the Disco Ball," an original by the Garry Marshall Theater. Jorchual is excited to bring you along on a journey in Adanza.
Melissa Carvajal
Melissa Carvajal, Colombo-Venezuelan SAG-AFTRA, Actress and professional dancer for over 20 years. For the last 11 years she has been living in Los Angeles as a working actor. She is also bi-coastal going back and forth between LA and NYC doing precisely what she loves. After studying and getting a Bachelors in Acting for Film, she has been heavily active in LA’s film community acting in several indie/short films, TV commercials, and music videos. She has done several theatre productions such as "Anna In The Tropics", "Closer", "Hortencia and The Museum of Dreams", and her most recent "Diagnosis Deferred" which made it to the finals at Brisk Festival this year. She has also played the leading role in web series like "Empanarcos", features films, has done several national bilingual commercials, short films and TV shows such as "Good Trouble".
Sage Buchalter
Sage Buchalter is an actor, singer-songwriter from St. John in the US Virgin Islands. After graduating from Colorado Mesa University with a degree in Music Theatre she moved to NYC. There she premiered Off-Broadway in “Nicholas Nickleby”, performed in two runs of the musical comedy “Wild Women of Planet Wongo” and jumped heavily into the film world. Some of her more notable credits include Nicole (supporting) in the award winning feature HOW TO SAY GOODBYE, Eloise (lead) in Brooklyn Demme’s feature MOUNTAIN LION, and Journalist (lead) in the 2023 KVIFF trailer with Johnny Depp. Under the name, Sage Saint John, you can find her original music on all music streaming platforms. Tate Jesus Navarro
Tate Jesus Navarro is from Boerne, Texas. They grew up enamored by any medium of art and expression. They participated in choir, film, theater, band, and drawing. Tate grew up dancing with their family and friends, like cumbia and hip-hop. They later took their first dance technique class when they attended Texas State University in 2016. After graduating in 2019, Tate continued their education by completing their MFA in dance at Texas Woman’s University. During their collegiate dance career, they rediscovered their passion for film and music. They started blending and exploring the art forms of dance and film as well as creating music for their own dance endeavors. They moved to Los Angeles in 2023 and are continuing to grow their musical talent and songwriting as a separate practice by learning guitar and keyboard. They are currently teaching dance, acting, drawing, screenwriting, and filmmaking.
Tristan Nguyen
Tristan Nguyen (he/him), also known as Phogalicious (she/her) in drag, is a dancer, choreographer, and drag artist who creates from the perspective of an Asian queer artist in the US. Born in Vietnam, he embraces his cultural heritage and views on gender and equality in his work. Since moving to Seattle, he has collaborated with dance companies like Ztheory, Zay’s Baes, and Purple Lemonade. Now based in Los Angeles, he continues to pursue professional dance, choreography, and music video direction while advocating for Asian queer representation in the industry.
Sharyn Scott
Sharyn is an accomplished aerialist and circus performer with over a decade of experience. She is a multi-talented performer with a dynamic range of skills, from aerial acrobatics to roller skating and fire dancing. Her dedication to movement drives her to continually learn new skills and push the boundaries of her art. Sharyn’s performances have graced stages at renowned events such as Coachella and Lightning in a Bottle. She has appeared in feature film "Birds of Prey" and Jojo Siwa's "Non Stop" music video. Sharyn is the co-founder of the Los Angeles-based circus troupe Cirque Lunaire. When she is not performing, she is a passionate coach and finds immense joy in challenging her students to help them reach their goals.
Christopher Yates
Christopher Yates, or Rusty B, (that's the family friendly version), is a drama, improv and circus school trained performer. (aka, homeless!?). He is an actor, entertainer and musician originally from New Zealand. (So, you won't understand him, but he can communicate with AND sheer sheep). He has performed on four continents, (more like been run out of them), in three different languages in a variety of performance genres from corporate to carnival, theater to film. He is a multi-instrumentalist, (with emphasis on the "mental"), and multi skilled cirque-based comic. (Though it turns out, "hey baby I'm a juggler!,......doesn't work"). You'll laugh (at him, not with), you'll cry, (that's not a job!), you'll wonder if his hair is real, (It is. He borrowed it off Kenny G). Enjoy! (or.....ENDURE!).
Jennifer Novak Chun
Jennifer Novak Chun is a professional Cellist, Violinist, Actor, Writer, Director, Producer, and Composer - just about anything she can do to make the bucks these days. Her acting credits include the award winning film, “Cello,” alongside Master Cellist, Lynn Harrell and the bone chilling “Monstrous” starring Christina Ricci. Her recent favorite directing credits include the musical, "The Andrews Brothers" for Theatre Palisades (which was tragically lost in the fires) and "To Bah or Not to Bah Humbug" for Hollywood Fringe. Most recently, she performed as the cellist in Dana Benedict's "Alchemy and Poetry," a magical musical dance extravaganza. She is the founding director and composer for the musical ensemble, 'Edgar Allan and the Poe-etts' and cellist/violinist for the SoCaladonians, a Scottish dance band that performs regularly throughout Southern California.
Gonsalo (BBoy) Chalo
Hi, I’m Gonsalo or Bboy Chalo, I started breaking in 2011. I trained under Bboy Loco Marco in Peru. In 2013, I was selected as one of the 20 best in my city to train as a professional dancer at the “D1 Dance School by Vania Massias”, where I took basic courses in ballet, contemporary, salsa, bachata and hip hop. My specialty is power moves (flare, airflare, headspin and trickscombo).
Vicki Liv
Choreographer
Vicki Liv/Victoria is from Denmark, Europe. She started dancing when she was 3 years old, and trained in several styles all from Ball Room to Break Dance . Through teaching and competitions Vicki traveled not only around Europe, but also to US for Hip Hop World Championships. In beginning of 2020 she made the move to LA, and is now performing, choreographing and teaching with love and passion for movement.
With her main styles being Jazz Funk, Hip Hop and Heels, Vicki Liv is assisting big Choreographers such as Hamilton Evans, Ian Mckenzie and Hero Thomas, and is signed with GTA, one of US's largest dance agencies.
Victoria is co-founder of FlowMotion Dance Studios and co-director of Hip Hop International Denmark.

Brooke Ferri Co-writer, director and producer of “Adanza”
Born in Denver Colorado, Brooke received her BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and her JD from Southwestern Law School. Brooke has worked in Film, TV, music publishing and A&R for 15 years and has been songwriting for over 13 years. Brooke produced the music for Adanza and, along with her husband, Jilbér, wrote all of the songs and the script. Along with directing and producing Adanza, she currently works as a song coach and producer, runs her entertainment legal practice www.brookeferrilaw.com and is mom to Django (age 13) and Ennio (age 2).
